Falcon-Care is looking for a dedicated and motivated Care Supervisor to join our Blackburn branch. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while supporting and leading a team of committed care professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client assessments and care plan reviews to ensure services meet changing needs

  • Develop person-centred care plans based on individual needs, preferences, and risk assessments

  • Support and supervise care staff, including conducting spot checks and competency assessments

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to staff; assist with staff training and development

  • Undertake on-call duties on a shared rota basis (including weekends and evenings)

  • Monitor the quality of care delivery, ensuring compliance with Falcon-Care policies and CQC standards

  • Perform care visits as required, especially in emergency situations or during staff shortages

  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, service users, and family members to ensure coordinated care

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date

  • Assist the management team with recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance monitoring


Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and alternate weekends

  • Previous experience in care, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Confident using digital systems for care planning and record-keeping

  • Ability to lead, support, and motivate a team


Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care (or working towards)

  • Previous experience in a Care Supervisor or similar role

  • Experience delivering or supporting training for care staff

  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and the care inspection process

  • Familiarity with the local Blackburn area and its care services
