Hi I’m Liz and I’m very excited to join the Falcon-Care team

I am married with 2 grown up sons and have recently relocated to Blackburn from Northern Ireland to be closer to family bringing with me 20 years operational experience in Health & Social Care. During those 20 years I have progressed from being the carer on the ground to my current role as Registered Manager which I have been undertaking now for the last 17 years. I really feel I have found my vocation in life as I have a real passion for helping others be that staff or service users and gain immense job satisfaction from making a positive difference no matter how small to the lives of others.

Before joining Falcon-Care I was Registered Manager for a Charitable organisation where playing my part in procuring a very successful Tender the business quadrupled in size and I was responsible for & headed up a team of 350 staff delivering weekly services to 800 service users. I have worked across the sector supporting adults such as frail elderly, those with either learning or physical disabilities & those with mental health conditions establishing extensive relationships with a vast range of fellow professionals encouraging multi disciplinary working and the sharing of best practice.

In my time at Falcon-Care I want to ensure that every service user has the best possible positive experience from passionate, dedicated, trained care staff that I play an active role in supporting & mentoring for each of them to achieve their full potential progressing their own personal development as we continue to grow & expand Falcon-Care across the North West.

Hello, my name is Deanne I started working for Falcon Care in July, my role is the care co coordinator.

As well as working for Falcon Care I am also a full time Mummy to my eight-year-old daughter.

I have worked in the care sector for over 15 years, with experience of caring for the elderly, end of life clients and managing supporting living homes.

Working in the health care sector is a role a hugely enjoy and love, I am a big believer that all care should be delivered in a person-centred way and I enjoy training staff to ensure this is delivered, since joining Falcon Care I have quickly found that the whole of Falcon Care staff are all very person centred and do build up professional working relationships with all individuals they care for.

I love meeting new people and although my role is care co coordinator I do also, enjoy working out in the community rather this being completing new assessments or covering shift work to meet all the clients at Falcon Care.

In my spare time I enjoy spending this time with my daughter which Is usually an afternoon of nature walks around the UK. I also enjoy a day out at the local Spa with an afternoon tea.

Hi my name is Billy, I am extremely excited to be working for Falcon-Care.

I have over 5 years’ experience working in the care industry. I started my career working as a care worker and then progressed to a care co-ordinator completing rotas for staff and clients. While doing this role I also assisted in doing client assessments and interviewing applicants.

I have joined Falcon-Care as office administrator. I am looking forward to being part of both the recruitment process and being the first point of contact for all enquiries.

I am hoping to develop in my role allowing me to progress in my career.

Hi my name is Joanne I am the Quality Assurance Officer here at Falcon-Care

I started my career within Health and Social Care as a Domiciliary Carer in September 2016 and within 6 months I was supporting other care staff within their roles as a Care Coach, working predominantly within the Pendle area.

After gaining the necessary skills needed I took on a role within the Blackburn with Darwen area as a “Freedom Buddy Support Professional”, supporting local clients to planned events in a specialist mobility vehicle.

I continued to work my way up to becoming a Senior Field Care Supervisor whilst achieving both my Level 3 and 4 Diploma’s in Adult Care and a Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care.

In my quality assurance role I will be supporting our Field Care Supervisors and Carers to continue to provide the very best person centered care to our clients whilst adhering to CQC Standards and our companies policies and procedures.

I love enjoying helping others; whether that be colleagues or clients and take a great sense of pride and happiness from watching people growing and becoming the best version of themselves despite any challenges that they may face in life.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends. I love to get out in the outdoors with my beloved dog Buddy and especially playing netball in the local community netball leagues.

Hi my name is Paul Maliki and I joined Falcon-Care in December 2023 as a Field Care Supervisor. Prior to joining the Falcon-Care team, I served as a senior health care assistant at a care home in Essex County. I have a genuine concern for the well-being of clients and I enjoy serving older adults, assisting adult children and supporting the community. My core focus is in supporting the Falcon-Care office team  and my fellow care workers in the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all our clients within the community by fostering an atmosphere of engagement around the different dimensions of care.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my four children. I also love engaging in charity work through my local church.

Hi my name is Rukhsana, I started my journey in care in March 2022. Having never worked in care before Falcon-Care gave me the opportunity to pursue my career in the care sector through continued development and training. Throughout the months I have gained valuable experience working my way up slowly from care worker to senior carer. With the help of Falcon-Care I am now completing my Level 3 in Health and Social care which will help me further throughout my career. I love working for Falcon-Care as we all work together like one big family.

As a senior care worker I will be inducting new staff into this wonderful role, mentoring them and helping them start their journey in the care sector.

I am a mother of 5 and I love to enjoy family time outside of work, I also attend college completing a course in Counselling.

Hello my name is Margaret  but I like to be called Maggie, I enjoy working for Falcon-Care Blackburn and love all my care team colleagues , I  have worked in care for the last 28 years gaining experience in Dementia and end of life care. I have supported clients with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health related issues.

I enjoy working in care as I like to make a difference in peoples lives. I am happy to say with the help of Falcon-Care Blackburn supervisors and manager I have completed my level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care. In my spare time I like to read and travel. My family are very important to me.
