Job role

Falcon-Care Blackburn are looking to recruit waking night care workers to join our fast-growing team.

You will provide a variety of services to help clients during the night to remain independent and safe in their own home.

About the role

Your role as a night care worker would be to build relationships and a bond with your clients to deliver person centred care. As one of our highly valued night care workers, you’ll play an important part in ensuring our clients are safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night.

Your role will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care or end of life care. You’ll assist residents with their night-time routines, including eating, drinking, washing, dressing and getting into bed.

If you have personal experience of caring for a family member, voluntary experience, working in a care setting or experience of interacting with older people then this could be the role for you. Experience is not necessary because full training is provided, both those with experience and those without are equally welcome to join our team.

    Falcon-Care are looking for caring and compassionate care workers who are able to work the following night shift patterns:

    10pm – 7am, 8pm-8am, 10pm-8am

  • What we can do for you

  • You will have the opportunity to undertake the Care Certificate which we would support you to complete within your first 12 weeks with us and to progress onto nationally recognised qualifications.

    You will receive  support from the team for your ongoing continuous development and support to progress your career amongst our team.

    You will have access to our 24/7  on call service for help and support and advice.

  • Skills and qualities required

  • No previous experience needed as full training will be given.
    Must be available to work alternate weekends

    Must have a smart phone
    Must be dedicated, driven and have a positive attitude. Wanting to make a difference in care and use their skill set and experience to help those who need care and support.
    Reliable and honest
    Patient and Caring
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    A full driving licence and your own transport is preferred but not essential.
    The right to work in the UK.
